Avoiding the negative chemicals found in processed foods often means buying goods closer to the source and making many things from scratch. So often when people say they are vegetarian they actually mean that they do not eat meat but they do eat fish and chicken. I’m sorry but that is not a vegetarian diet. The meaning would be that you don’t consume any animal based products.

There is a tremendous problem today with global childhood obesity, one that medical researchers and physicians are trying to address head-on by identifying the factors that are contributing to this epidemic. One area of focus has been the possible connection between early feeding practices and a child’s risk for overweight or obesity.
